People Like Us® was started by Nicol Matheson in 2019. 

A familiar face in the banking, financial and insurance sector, he has built a successful career as a founder, market analyst and solutions manager - before returning to his roots and passion in consultative recruitment.

Nicol’s diverse network is a proven track record of how he operates. Any opportunity is still an opportunity. He takes a keen interest in both clients and candidates to not only fully understand

their needs, but also what keeps them going. 

Using his 20+ years of commercial experience, coupled with his personable nature, he has helped build diverse and impressive portfolios for a wide range of senior and C-Suite positions within complex sectors.
